Ah, Mag – you make me laugh – such a welcome tonic for this connoisseur of pumpkin soup.

Thank you for this. Adelaide Days is terrific and beguiling, especially like the layers of interactions and dialogue. The kids are terrific. And to read about this mileu in these times. I’ll keep an eye out for every episode.

    dear Mag

it was great catching up with you in SA recently and then reading the first episode of Adelaide Tales, a wonderful read; tried accessing the next episodes but couldn’t for some reason, not to worry, it was enough to make contact and maybe we will again; keep on writing, as if you needed encouragement, and look forward to seeing your book in due course, keep me informed

    with thanks, Jean

Brilliant episode. They get better and better. Gentle, comedic and political.

Magg Merrilees Adelaide Days is a wonderful piece of writing, full of humour as well as a glorious capacity to plot misunderstandings between well-meaning people of all ages. I look forward to each new chapter and I hope that the resolution archived in this chapter does not signify the approaching end of the story!

    Hi Marg

What a blast from the past to see your piece about your father in the Griffith Review last year and then your poem about Rottnest in the current issue. Your writing has become increasingly wonderful over the years and your pic on your website is so clearly the Marg I knew 20 or so years ago. Fond memories…good on you for developing your writing so beautifully,
